What Our Participants Have to Say…

This challenge was just what I needed to get back in my groove after the holidays and reign in my indulgent eating and drinking. I can see lines of muscle in my core (it’s no 6 pack but I’ll take it 🤣) and my pants fit better. It feels so good to challenge myself and see just how much I can lift. Hardest part will be staying the course with an injury and not letting it frustrate me into tapping out as it directly affects my goal of balancing my upper body to my lower.

I am enjoying this challenge, it was exactly what I wanted to do but I kept putting it off. I feel so great! I’m down to a weight that I haven’t seen since the challenge almost 3 years ago. 😊 I’m so happy to be eating better, I really don’t miss the sugar. That’s saying a lot because I’m a baker.
I’ve been making that lentil soup for at least 15 years and it is still one of my favorites. I love eggs and veggies and salads with almost anything on them.
I also love the cheesecake protein shake.

This challenge is helping me stay focused on being intentional about taking care of ME. The last few months life has thrown me some challenges and my normal course of action would have been to throw in the towel and EAT all my feelings. NOT this time- new job- no problem 5:15am class it is✔️. Packing lunches made with list-friendly items✔️ consistency is what I’m most proud of. Thank you Kelli and Amy for all your encouragement ( and for always playing Pink💗).

I’m loving this program, I believe it is the best challenge yet! I’m down 13 lbs and feel great! My middle is getting smaller even my boobs are shrinking 😂.

Another plus my 5-year-old ditched the apple juice ( she saw it at the grocery store, and said… oh apple juice…..mom, I really don’t need it) that is a win for me and her! My kids are adding spinach to their protein shake. ❤️

This is just since I started working out with y’all, not just the challenge… I have so much more energy to make it through the day without needing a nap on most days!! I feel like I’m a better and happier person, (just ask my family members 😂) I lost 8 pounds so far and I like Mesha was able to fit in some jeans that I barely got over my butt a couple of months ago! I’m not perfect with my food always but I try my best! Joining the blast family was one of the best things I have done for myself in years!! Thanks for being the best coaches and keeping us so motivated and make it fun to workout!!

I am feeling great. The food choices & options are totally sustainable for the long term IMO. A few of my favorite meals have been from other recipes found here; made Melis cauliflower soup & used it for a base for my turkey Zuppa Toscana soup. Made Susan’s lentil soup & planning to make it again this weekend in fact. Love love my corn tortillas. I am just grateful that all my body parts are working this year. No shoulder injury & my knee is better. I just feel so lucky to be part of this fitness family, with you, momma bear Kelli, watching over us & guiding us all through!

I myself feel pretty good!! I managed to stay on track thru the arctic blast, for the most part, but now it’s slightly been an inconvenience to my meal prepping… Going to the store today to remedy that!! I like the progress I have made!! I knew I was down a few pounds, as I was able to get into some jeans I haven’t worn in a while and even took up a notch in my belt!! That was exciting!! I’m slowly gaining my strength back, my husband even noticed the progress. 😍 I have about 10 more pounds I’d love to lose by the end of this journey!! And I know it’s possible. But honestly, I’ll be happy with anything as long as it keeps coming off… I didn’t know what to do with myself last week, not being able to get to the gym and keep up with the routine I FINALLY got back in place… ♥️♥️. I’m just so happy to be moving again!!

I have to say joining the blast family has been one of the best things I’ve done for myself in a long time. I’m stronger healthier and more aware of what goes into my body and I’m not dreading working out at 5:15 am!! Which is a first! I’m NOT a morning person. My weight loss has been steady and consistent and it’s something I’m very proud of. I still would like another 10-15 lbs which is doable! I have to admit I’m still struggling with meal planning and prepping but it’s much much better now than in the beginning. I love how much I can eat and not feel deprived! I’ve learned I don’t need to starve myself and deprive myself of carbs to lose weight!! My kids have noticed I’m happier and more willing to go out and play. I’m enjoying getting everyone in my family, eating healthier and more active.

Am loving and absorbing the overall energy and enthusiasm shared by this group of challengers. We have some new faces who pump us up with their determination, smiles, and friendship.
In addition, I am loving the recipes and cooking hacks presented — the soups are so easy and delicious; corn tortilla chips my favorite, and just getting back on track with the consistency of staying away from poor choices. I know now what my body can maintain– and, that wine is ok (8 oz. is a whole lot poured out!!!!) And, I even cook!! Small tricks like new spices or a different veggie give me confidence in knowing just that small mindset “reset” feels like a total 🏆✌win!
This schedule has so much packed into it, didn’t seem possible for classes to remain full! But, It’s hard to pick class sometimes because they all sound like “I wanna do that “😆
